Steamboat ski holidays

Steamboat Piste Map

‘Champagne Powder’ was coined to describe the amazing snow quality here, and with an average 30 feet per year, it has an awesome snow record and superb ski terrain.

Snow falls all night and then clears to Colorado bluebird skies. This is not a once or twice a season jackpot - in Steamboat it’s a regular occurrence. Six peaks comprise the ski area, offering almost 3,000 acres of skiable terrain, and it’s firmly stamped ‘Great for Families’. There is a huge amount of terrain here for all ages and all skill levels, but on a powder day the tree-skiing in Steamboat is like nothing else you’ve ever experienced.

Western tradition also sets Steamboat apart from other ski resorts; it’s a ranching town that welcomes you with open arms and has enough small town charm to keep you smiling long after you leave. The old town and the mountain village are three miles apart, with a regular free shuttle bridging the gap. Both offer a great range of restaurants and bars in which to relax after a great day on the slopes.
