For over 140 years Holland America Line has transported people across the globe, once taking them from the Netherlands to their new lives in America, and today on traditional cruise holidays. Easily recognised by their navy blue hulls, the cruise line’s 14 mid- to large-size ships sail the seven continents and have a country-house-at-sea style. Enjoy exceptional dining as part of your full-board package as well as a range of excellent speciality restaurants which you can enjoy for a cover charge.

Recommended for:

We recommend Holland America Line to those who appreciate rich heritage and enjoy traditional comforts. Partnerships with the likes of BBC Earth reflect the emphasis that the cruise line put on authentic and genuine experiences in each destination they visit.

Dress code:

On board you can be casual on board during the day. Evenings on board are usually smart casual. On one or more nights during the cruise the dress code is 'gala attire' (or formal) where gentlemen are expected to wear a jacket and tie and ladies should opt for a cocktail dress or gown.
