Witness the living ice of the world-famous Perito Moreno glacier. From El Calafate, head west into Los Glaciers National Park, and pass through typically Patagonian landscapes and along the shore of Lake Argentino before coming face to face with the 3-mile wide and 18-mile long glacier. Your first view of this sea of ice will be from 'Sighs Curve' before you continue on to the walkways that are just 300 metres away from the glacier's terminus. Spend time watching and listening to the ice, and possibly see massive chunks of ice calve of the face and become icebergs in the lake.
Explore acres of Andean Patagonian forest, lakes and beaver dams on this half day tour in the Tierra del Fuego National Park. Located at the 'end of the world' this fascinating landscape will leave you awe inspired. Visit view points offering panoramic views of the Beagle Channel, glimpse bird species such as the buff-necked ibis and take a walking tour to the Black Lagoon or the Beavers Path where you can view the dams that these curious creatures create.
